How does injections therapy for ED work?

The Priapus – Shot® is a quick procedure using your own platelet-derived growth factors (blood) to help treat erectile dysfunction. The injection floods the penis with regenerative cells that immediately begin revitalizing muscle, tissue and nerves. Procedure details

PROCESS
The P-Shot® begins with a simple blood draw. Then, using a proprietary technique, platelets and plasma are separated and concentrated. After numbing, our doctor will inject the injections containing the growth factors extracted from your blood into the parts of your penis that are most important to sexual arousal and ed.
DURATION
The entire process will take roughly 30 minutes. The injections take about 5 minutes and the procedure is complete.
SENSATION
Well tolerated. May feel a pinching or pressure sensation. A numbing cream is applied to the genital area.
DOWNTIME
There’s no recovery period – no post-operative care. Plasma injections are so simple and non-invasive that normal activities – including sex – can continue without downtime.

Are Injections injections safe?

Yes. As of this time, there have been no reports of any side effects. Because the injection uses your own blood, there is no risk of allergic reaction and no possibility of a tainted blood product.

How long does the treatment take?

Not long at all. Plan on an hour at our office, including time for collection and processing the blood, letting the anesthesia take effect, the injection and aftercare instructions.

Do Injections injections hurt?

You’ll feel a pinch and a bit of pressure as the platelets are injected. Once the numbing cream is applied, men barely register the injection.

How soon will I see results?

Some men experience improvements almost immediately after their Priapus – Shot. Typically, our patients should expect to see improvements within weeks. Some studies suggest that having multiple P-shots 4-6 weeks apart increases the chances for better results.
